He has produced several instructional Guitar videos for Hal Leonard and conducted video Guitar lessons with many top-name Guitarists including Joe Satriani, Neal Schon, Zakk Wylde, Vernon Reid, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Johnson, John 5, Dave Mustaine, Reb Beach, and Angus Young. He is the former editor in chief at Guitar One and Guitar Edge magazines, and his work has appeared in Guitar World, Sirius XM, Jazz Times, Women Who Rock, Home Recording, and Bass Guitar World, among others.
