Meet Author Amy Austria

Amy Austria is a clarinet performer and teacher and author of How to Play Clarinet in 14 Days from Troy Nelson Music. She received her Bachelors of Music in Music Studies from Texas State University, with a minor in Music Composition. She studied clarinet with Dr. Vanguel Tangarov, and she studied composition with Dr. Michael Ippolito and Dr. Hank Hehmsoth.

She lives outside of Austin, Texas, where she works as a freelance composer and teaches private clarinet lessons.
